  1. 2004 · Brazil · the beginning

    One part at a time

    At 11 or 12, I was helping repair PCs at the computer shop next door. By 14 or 15, I was buying parts for my own computer with money from selling ice pops on the street. A memory stick. A hard drive. A motherboard. Each piece took work. I still remember what it felt like to put them together.

  2. 2014 · Brazil → Australia

    Learning as I went

    In Brazil, I sold clothes, built an online shop and learned to find customers through internet ads. Then I moved to Australia with little money, no English and nobody I knew. I worked in construction, waited tables and cleaned while learning the language. Eventually, one rented room became a business housing around 60 people. I was finding my way.

  3. 2020 · Sydney · the turning point

    Starting over

    Some residents needed electric bikes for delivery work. With two partners, I created a brand and ordered 40 bikes from China. They arrived as the pandemic began. Residents left, apartments emptied, and I kept paying rent. Within months, years of savings were gone. I returned the apartments, sold the furniture and closed both businesses. I had to begin again.

  4. 2021 · Rebuilding · One Sydney Harbour

    Building back, slowly

    I went back to what I knew: installing blinds. I opened my own company and gradually rebuilt my life. Around a year later came the One Sydney Harbour contract. Over four years, I led 12 people installing approximately 6,000 motorised blinds. Alongside the physical work, I built the systems we used to run the business. I could put what I was learning into practice.

  5. NOW · Software · automation · AI agents

    Still that same curiosity

    I’d been studying technology alongside my businesses for years: Linux in 2019, then systems development coursework and a web development bootcamp. After One Sydney Harbour, I gave software more of my time. By late 2025, I was trying to build my own local agent. Today I create apps, workflows and AI agents, and share what I learn. That same curiosity still drives me.
